We are happy to announce that WOD Skill Tours will be holding a seminar in the Apti Aukhadov Seminar Tour in CSP Bray. We will be hosting Apti here on Wednesday 18th February 2015 for an intimate evening seminar. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and train with this amazing athlete. Numbers are very limited to ensure the best possible experience for all participants. This is NOT just a ‘meet & greet’. Apti will be coaching and correcting each participant individually, as well as performing a lifting demonstration, answering questions and discussing training, recovery and nutrition. The seminar is for four hours from 5.00pm to 9.00pm. The cost of the session is €120

Although each seminar will be unique depending on the participants and their experience level, the questions raised, etc. there will be a clear structure, with key aspects covered at each event.

As such each Seminar will include the following:

  • Lifting demonstration by Apti
  • Coaching input by Apti on lifting by participants,
  • One to one coaching in small groups on each lifts,
  • Various progressions and accessory exercises.
  • Presentation and Informal questions and answers sessions covering the following: training, preparing for competition, increasing strength, efficiency, movement quality, mobility drills and recommendations, diet and supplementation.
  • Work on Clean and Jerk will include Split Jerk as well as Squat Jerk.

As the average weight of a competitive CrossFit male ranges between 85 – 90kg, as an 85kg lifter Apti’s style of lifting and his training approach are a perfect fit for CrossFit Athlete

About Apti

Apti is the current World Champion and European Champion in the 85kg Category, at only 22. He won Silver in the London Olympics with a total of 385kg. He won the 2013 World Championships with a total of 387kg and is currently training for the 2014 World Championships this November in Kazakhstan.  He is one of the most iconic lifters of his generation, his unique style and flawless technique have made him the best in the world. He is a very affable and humble character, considering his exceptional talent, which makes him very approachable and amenable as a coach.
